The seance began slightly oddly as Chris, prior to the beginning of the seance, felt something around her that caused her to jump and comment that the place must be haunted! Then when she sat in her chair ready to open the evening she felt some hesitation due to this 'different' feeling. However, after a few moments the energy settled and felt familiar...so the prayer was then spoken and the lights extinguished.

No sounds were heard from the cabinet during the first two songs. During the third song sounds relating to ectoplasmic withdrawal were heard. When the fourth song 'Welcome to my world' was played strong knocking was heard. Chris felt a 'pencil point' jab to her leg...which she dismissed. The leg of her trousers then moved..and she dismissed this also. This morning she has been advised to acknowledge these touches as being relevent to inclusion within this report.

Towards the end of the fourth song and more strongly through the fifth 'Let's Get Physical' further tapping sounds were heard and Chris's bare feet picked up the soft vibration within the floor. The tapping felt like vibrations...sounded like softly padding feet at first...then sounded like small running feet...and then it was noticed that the tappings were being made in time with the music being played.

The medium, Lee, was seated unrestrained within the closed cabinet in blackout conditions for the duration of the seance.

This evening the spirit teams present decided to experiment together. There were three Mediums present who are at different stages of direct voice development...so I guess the temptation for all to become 'activated' was just too tempting to miss! Note that although this experimental work was unexpected at no time was there any mistrust or fear felt by anyone present. The Lodge environment is harmonious and the seance itself was well controlled throughout by FC and the resident spirit teams.

The first sounds of direct voice development came from Lee's team within the cabinet...but whilst they were 'settling in' Nicola's team made their presence known with their own less evolved vocal projections...these sounded rather uncomfortable but Nicola was fine. The steady sounds coming from Lee's team can be heard to continue in the background. The familiar sounds from Lee's team were joined 16 minutes later by similar projections from Richard's team (accompanied by clear amusement from his spirit guide Ted). Nicola's team then joined in again too! Again don't worry...she was fine!

After about 50 minutes the faint sound of Yellow Feather's presence can be heard. The Chief...from Lee's team...was clearly in control of the demonstrations. 28 minutes into the recording he assures sitters that they are in safe hands...and then proceeds to use Richard's energy to best effect! 32 minutes into the recording Luther can be heard. Tom then says hello. Just after this (40 mins) the spirit teams can be heard working together again. This time Luther explains that ectoplasm is being used internally to coat the vocal chords...the vibrations as this demonstration is effected can be heard to rumble back and forth across the room...they came from both Lee and Richard...Ted (through Richard) seems very amused by this and Elf is recognised and giggles to!

The various demonstrations of direct voice development remained active for approximately 50 minutes, after which time the spirit teams told sitters that they were withdrawing. 10 minutes later Chris's hand, which was rested upon the CD player felt a tapping vibration within the machine. This happened several times and is a particular sensation that cannot be imagined and cannot be readily described. Spirit guide FC told Chris that this was effected by 'Tom'. The CD also later jumped a few times, but this could be caused by dust upon the disc so can't be regarded as evidential phenomena at this stage.

NOTE: The voice development through both mediums is such that clarity and definition is becoming trialled. At this stage therefore it isn't possible to be absolutely certain whether some of the communicators are the same entities working through them both. However it has to be said that having listenned closely each week to the communicators within Lee's circle and to Syann's audio recordings (and recent Lodge sittings when she visited us) this appears to be the case. Little One and The Chief appear to be 'the same' as does the 'hahaha' voice and another voice that I hear 'behind' them that has not come forward noticeably in Brighton yet. It is interesting that the spirit teams support each other and it seems, perhaps, that as a result of the spirit teams join enterprise the development of both mediums is being moved forward more rapidly than might otherwise be the case. In addition to Lee's 'Bristol' team visiting Brighton, Syann's primary guide Clyde has appeared in the Lodge several times through Jerry (Spirit Chamber) and has shown himself more recently to Syann through Richard (Spirit Harmony) when she was visiting the Lodge.

The medium was seated unretrained within the closed cabinet in blackout conditions for the duration of the seance. A seance trumpet was placed about 3ft from the cabinet, as it had been last week.

The evening began unusually. I felt whoozy when I first entered the lodge, but this is something often felt. The feeling normally clears by the time the others are seated and I take my place as seance host to open with the customary prayer. Tonight the whoozy feeling remained and I asked my guide to take it away, without success. In fact the feeling increased. I asked for guidence...which seemd to take a long time to become offered. I felt one of my hands become moved and the movement was accompanied by the suggestion that two mof the sitters exchange places. Jon was then placed diagonally across from the cabinet, whereas he had been seated opposite myself initially. When this move was effected the fuzzy feeling immediately cleared and I was able to open the seance in the normal way. Chris

Jerry was seated beside the cabinet. Jon was seated diagonally opposite the cabinet. Emma and Richard were seated equi-distant along the side walls on either side of Jon. This, as I became aware as I placed the named seating tickets under FC's guidance, theoretically offered a good energy balance.

Tonight was the Bristol Spirit Lodge Christmas party and the final seance for 2011. Lee, although he has only been sitting for Physical development since March of this year faced a very strong challenge as he sat within the cabinet with a high number of sitters, two of them at least, also being ectoplasmic mediums. Lee's spirit team likewise were called upon to work with and manage the increased energy being offered. It has to be said that this challenge was well met.

I have listened to the recording of Lee....as you know I have seen and heard some strange things over the years, but not many with real direct voice.

It is amazing to hear the building of a sound box with Lee, and what is going to be some very strong and clear direct voice communication.

I am very impressed with his development at this stage, and I would back him, put my name to him and support him all the way, if you could pass this on for me and give him a huge congrats from me.

As you know I'm not very forth coming with support and encouragment, simply because I need to know for sure that it is direct voice, and not human..in Lee's case it is a simple matter of being more than confident,well done and keep it up.

Lee has been sitting for the development of physical mediumship for less than six months. We are all astonished at how things are coming together for him. The seance was another happy one, with the energy seeming well balanced and fluid. The spirit team continue their development towards the clearly audible presentation of direct voice phenomena. REPORT FROM LEE:

I'll try and explain the best I can about my experience in the cabinet at the moment.

I feel very wooly in the house around 10 mins before we are due to go out to the lodge. This feeling sometimes kicks in the minute I sit around the table and relax.

Once in the cabinet chair I feel the woolyness deepen and my eyes become heavier. I try and stay focused for the opening prayer. Once this has been said I take myself 'going to my house' within my imagination. I imagine a white light almost like a cloud full of plus signs all around me, this I breath in and feel the positive light filling my body from head to toe, breathing out minus signs any stresses or strains of the day/week. This happens until I feel anything negative has been replaced with positive. I then continue up a set of iron circular stairs, this has a gate at the top that I unlock with a key. I then walk towards my 'house', opening the door with my key and entering . I shut the door behind me.

In my house I have a corridor. To the left I have a door leading to the garden, a door in front of me that is a healing room and a door to my right that is like a living room. I enter my living room and greet whoever is there...usually my nan and a dog called benny. It is a very cosy setting. It has a fireplace with the fire going, and comfy chairs etc. To the left there is a chair exactly the same as what's in the cabinet, and a line of other chairs next to it with usually figures sitting in them. The detail of these people is still very blurred at the moment, but is becoming clearer every time I sit. I greet them all and sit in the chair. I ask for my main guide to come close. I feel him standing in front of me when I ask and I close my eyes again. I then start to feel the vibration increase and my jaw chattering. This is when I feel my spirit team are taking control.

It is around this time I feel the heat increasing within my stomach area and directly behind in my back. I start to burp quietly as if I had just drank or eaten something. This is where it gets harder to explain. I feel something coming up from this part of my body and at the same time my head tilting back and mouth opening. If I try to think about what they (spirit team) are doing I find myself stepping out and feel like I can't breathe because my mouth is clogged up and my air ways are blocked....so I go back down after a while and just feel the vibration thing again. The music I can still hear at this stage but cannot feel my body...and I feel someone else is in it. Whatever happens from here on is a blur.

When I hear the closing music I feel I am back in my body but still have no control. It is only after I close myself down by saying thank you to the spirit team in my room in my house for what they have achieved, saying bye to my nan and the dog and any other guests that may have arrived. I leave the living room and take my self out of the house closing and locking the door behind me. I make my way over to the outside gate, open it and slide down the slide that was once the stairs. I slide down until I hit the ground. I then feel my body becoming part of me again. First in my feet and toes then my hands. It has been the last couple of weeks I have felt my hands almost dripping with water and very hot but they look dry as a bone. Very strange! The last week or so it has been harder to get control back and I have been feeling extremely tired, lack of energy and in need of water!!!

The seance began as usual and during the first piece of opening music the sound of extended or projected breathing could be heard. During the second piece of music sounds familiarly linked to the extraction of ectoplasmic energy, that we are told by the spirit team are withdrawn from within the medium's body, and sometimes too from the supporting sitters. A complex procedure, best understood by those within the spirit world that enable it to become effected.

The development of this medium has been rapid, whilst being at the same time well controlled and managed by the spirit team that are working with him. The voice box is becoming stronger and the teams manipulation of this is becoming easier.

Within this seance Julie mentioned that her chair moved four times and Pat reported touches to her head. All sitters were aware of 'energy fizz' seen around the room and particularly around the trumpet.

Progress is very clear and we are all looking forward to the fun ahead.

EXTRA NOTE: After writing this report I felt a compulsion (instigated by circle spirit guide FC) to add that when my husband and I were approaching sleep last night we both heard what can best be described as a loud electrical 'crack'. It shook us both into wakefulness, and my husband leapt from the bed to check that the lights hadn't fused (or that the house hadn't caught fire)....he then checked the wall socket beside the bed. No fault was found anywhere. I, for some reason, remained in bed smiling and joked that the spooks were 'at it again'. As my husband returned to bed he muttered that he needed his beauty sleep. FC replied smartly (through me) "We are all aware of this". Accompanying these spoken words was an unspoken explanation, that the sound had been caused before we were actually asleep, so it had not techincally disturbed our sleep (although, of course, it had). I should add that I have always told FC that I am happy to work with him anytime, as long as he doesn't disturb my sleep. There is no proof that the electrical sound was caused by the spirits manipulation of energy. However...my husband has gone to work muttering something about "they'll have the roof off next!"...and I have been 'asked' to add this report to the seance file. Fantastic progress!

NOTES:

Chris (circle leader) felt that this seance was closely monitored by the circles overseeing spirit guide FC. It seemed unusual, to her, for him to remain close for the whole evening, and sloe his communication with her seemed unusually precise. Chris feels 'this sort' of closeness often when sititng with newly devleloping mediums, but seldom with those that are, like Lee, considered to be established and experiencing stable development.

As an example of the communication Chris received tonight: She was asked to look around the room prior to opening the seance and she felt herself to look in great detail, but at the same time very quickly. Within the early part of the seance she was asked to acknowledge and welcome the presence of Maestro. At another point she was told that the vessel had been removed from his physical body (the voice activity within the room was quiet at that time)...FC implied that this was part of the over all experiment.

Towards the latter part of the seance Chris felt increasingly uncomfortable within her abdomen and asked FC to reduce her discomfort...he didn't, but instead told her to look at the trumpet, which she did (but nothing was happening). Interestingly after the seance Jon told Chris that he too had been asked by spirit to look towards the trumpet at a point in the latter part of the seance.

After the seance Chris asked Lee what it felt like to talk. Lee said that he only hears muffled sounds and that it isn't like talking and forming words, he just feels a vibration. Lee feels that he remains concious for part of the seance, though less so at other times. He feels that his developmental seances now pass very quickly.

Lee has been sitting in the Lodge for development weekly and the progress towards the demonstration of direct voice phenomena has been amazing. This evenings seance was yet another turning point, and indicated the strength and stablity of the progress being made by the spirit team as four of the five supporting sitters were guests and were previously unknown to the medium himself.

Unusually I have decided to post the full seance recording on this occasion. Basically this is to give followers a better idea of how the seance 'feels'. The audio runs for close to an hour..and is best heard whilst sitting with eyes closed.

The seance began as usual...there was a breathy sound coming from the cabinet during the second piece of music played. This soft sound seemed to project across the room at roof height. After this there were short periods of silence (aside from the music and singing) with sounds typical of direct voice development becoming demonstrated throughout the evening. The seance began as usual, although with a different CD playing...the music being slightly more up-beat that previously. The change of music did not affect the demonstration.

Prior this sitting the medium had been supported within senace by both or either of two strong mediums, Richard and Sandy. This evening he sat without this powerful supporting energy being present. He is effectively now 'standing alone'.

Due to the fact that this medium, Lee, has not enabled communiction through trance of any alternative manner prior to sitting in the Spirit Haven circle Chris has been trusting FC to guide the seance through herself...effectively trusting that FC would be able to communicate with Lee's spirit team (assuming that there be one) in order to ensure appropriate seance management and controls.

This evening the development of direct voice continued, with varying sounds and potential voice tones becoming demonstrated. Most of the sounds came clearly from the direction of the cabinet with some being well projected into the room.

All too soon the seance drew towards closure. There is a piece of music that is played each week that indicates to spirit that this is the case. Chris always makes it clear that at the end of this music she will switch on the red light...during the music she asks spirit to make the room safe for her to do this. After the red light is switched on one more piece of music is played before the cabinet is opened and the medium returns to his normality. Returning to full consciousness is a gradual process and not hurried. Finally we play two further closing pieces in order to ensure that everyone in the room is fully awake.

Tonight there was a great breakthrough, as when Chris announced that the red light would be switched on at the end of the customary piece of music, an agreeing response was heard. This being the very first indication that Lee's spirit team are ready to take control and to communicate when necessary, Chris was particularly delighted!

The seance began as usual and followed the path set within those previously held. Having said this, Chris was aware of a change of 'pressure' within the room. This can only be reported as a subjective awareness, but FC (our circle spirit guide) has suggested that the information should be offered forward for the consideration of others that are treading a similar developmental path. Chris's subjective view of this evenings 'energy change':

When we entered the lodge I felt FC to be familiarly with me. His presence is subtle (although he has visited other mediums and has then been felt far more strongly). Basically...when he's around I am aware of a 'fond warmth' that is with me regardless of my own personal mood of the day. This feeling was apparent as we entered the lodge. However it then vanished and I found myself wondering why...in fact I commented upon his absence, and felt 'alone' for a period of time. During the first piece of music he returned and along with him came a sort of heavy feeling...as if I'd eaten a too-hearty meal. This feeling persisted throughout the evening, but withdrew during the third song from the end of the seance....which left me feeling light-headed. As a small aside, I was also aware of a large Native American Indian ...I sort of sensed and accepted this...around the cabinet area for most of the seance.

For the most part the evening progressed as usual...with the now familiar sounds of direct voice development coming from within and above the cabinet area, as well as seeming to extend to be heard well into the room. The sounds were very close to those made and required for speaking. In fact from next week we will turn the volume down when such sounds occur, so as to trial practical two-way communication. It may be too soon for this expectation to become fulfilled...but next week we'll experiment in order to find out. Recordings made within this seance:

Both Jon and Richard experienced an altered state of consciousness periodically. Richard was 'out of it' for most of the time and sounds indicative of the potential early development of direct voice phenomena were witnessed to have been coming from his direction...he will continue to sit within his own circle, Spirit Harmony, where further experimentaion will no doubt take place.

There were many sounds heard within the lodge, mainly coming from the directtion of the cabinet. Some seemed to come from within the cabinet and others from above it. Some were well projected into the room.

Lee, the designated medium, was seated in the closed cabinet. Blackout conditions were set throughout.
Sandy was seated beside the cabinet with Richard beside her...both these mediums experienced spontaneous deep-trance state through much of the seance.

Note: Various spirit teams working within the lodge have informed us that Lee will be supported in his development by both Richard and Sandy during his early sittings. Both mediums, as we understand it, will (when under the control of their experienced spirit teams) manage the manipulation of energy during this time.

Due to a day of glorious sunshine the environment within the seance lodge was very warm...more like a sauna in fact. Despite leaving the fan running, and with blocks of ice placed around the room, the place remained uncomfortable. We were therefore surprised to witness continuing developmental work by the spirit teams.

The first phenomena was energy manipulation around the CD player. This affected the music being played.
Chris had her hand resting to the side of the player and became aware that 'something else' was around ...the hairs on her arm seemed to be standing up. Just as she was thinking about this the music 'jumped'..and continued to do so until she'd acknowledged spirits controlling influence.

The development of direct voice proceeded to become demonstrated. The voices were mainly projected into a corner of the room where no-one was seated....but also came from around Richard and from within and above the cabinet at the opposite side of the room. Following the opening of the seances, after the first ten minutes or so, sounds were heard coming from the cabinet area (often these seeming to come from above the cabinet). Without holding expectations, sitters feel it likely that direct voice phenomena is being attempted by the spirit team through this medium. We look forward to witnessing further experiments.

NOTE: Within this seance Pat reported her chair moving on two occasions. FC said that this was caused by a relative approaching her. FC says too that Pat has her own potential for further development should she wish to investigate further. FC goes on to say that communicating with spirits is a natural ability that can be accessed at will. There are many ways to aid communication, much as within this world.

We believe that two mediums, Richard and Lee, were both being 'used' by spirit during this seance, for the purpose of direct voice development. Interesting!

Throughout the seance the energy within the room was shadowy, cloudy and heavy. We later learned that Richard had experienced spontaneous trance periodically throughout the seance. Lee was uncertain what he had experienced, although he knew he'd tasted "something foul", and had felt 'something' being drawn upwards internally. He remembered hearing some of the seance music, but knew that he'd missed some of it also.

Richard had seen (through clairvoyance) a huge Native American Indian, who had approached him and then moved into the cabinet...Richard felt this Indian to be working with Lee. Chris's guide FC told her the following morning, that this personality had presented towards her also (Chris saw a dark shape but had put it down to being 'her eyes playing up'). The reality of the presentation, FC says, is relevant and should be reported here. The factual evidence should, FC says, be recorded, even if a person lacks the ability to accept the truth of what they see. Thanks for that FC!

Fifth sitting. July 6th

Lee (the designated medium) was seated in the closed cabinet with Sandy sitting in a chair to the left, with Richard sitting beside her. Across the room sat Chris (circle leader) and Pat. Blackout conditions were set throughout.

It was understood that Richard and Sandy would both be 'drawn' towards supporting Lees development, as has been the intention of this circle. In fact it later became apparent that Lee was totally unconscious throughout the seance, Sandy was also unconscious throughout the seance. Richard felt the familiar tug of energy from his solar plexis.

During the evening both witnesses heard 'the sound' of energy being drawn out of the cabinet and across the room. Unfortunately, despite the fact that the audio recorder had been placed (under FC's guidence) in a different position within the room than is usual this sound was not picked up by the recording device. Neither were the several knocks that had been heard by the two witnesses present during the seance (one knock was heard by Richard also).

This seance, despite having no audio recordings of note, was very interesting and such phenomena that was witnessed was indicative of positive development.

Next week the group is sitting in support of the Spirit Space circle. The following week we'll be back here again supporting Lee and the spirit teams.

Fourth Sitting. June 29th

Early in the evening a loud knock was heard, making both sitters jump!

The two witnesses both noticed that their left legs were ice cold for a lot of the time. At one point Chris said that hers had warmed up, but almost as soon as she had said this the icy feeling returned.

The energy within the room was heavy and 'active'. Although no proven (validated by both witnesses as the same time) activity was evident, both sitters were aware that work was being carried out behind the scenes.

At close of seance the medium was seen to be experiencing deep trance control. He returned to consciousness very gradually.

NOTE: A few days later, after chatting with Jerry, I realised that he thought the loud knock came from 'my side' of the lodge, or around the cabinet area...whereas I heard it as coming from 'his' side, almost beside him! Chris Di Nucci

Third sitting. June 22nd

The seance was held in blackout conditions throughout. Lee was seated in the closed cabinet with Sandy sitting in the chair beside it. Richard was seated beside Sandy. All three of these mediums experienced trance control.

Witnesses Chris, Jon and Pat, were seated away from the entranced mediums. During the seance several knocks were heard clearly, these being the sounds typical of 'energy cracking within wood' and were effected within the wood of the cabinet itself.

Both Sandy and Lee were producing heavy coughing ...similarly sounding...as if thickly. FC had told Chris that ectoplasm was within the room.

NOTE: All present are sitting without expectations of any particular outcome. Time will tell.

Second Sitting. June 15th

Sitters: Chris and Jon. Richard and Sandy (both experiencing trance conditions during the evening).

Lee, the designated medium, was seated in the closed cabinet with blackout conditions set. He experienced deep trance for most of the evening.

During the seance I was told by FC (spirit guide) that Lee stood aside from his physical form. I was also told that ectoplasm was present within the room, some of which was "gifted". Chris Di Nucci

Jon and I saw 'suggestions' of things within the room...but nothing absolutely objective was noticed by either of us.

When we had left the lodge and returned to the house for coffe, Lee commented that he had felt heat at times during the seance. Interestingly he also remarked that when he was returning to consciousness he had enjoyed the feeling of being "new and clean". This factor has not been mentioned previously by other developing physical mediums within the lodge, and we wonder whether anyone outside of our circle have experienced it during their development also? If so...please let us know : )

This was the second sitting and too soon to hold expectations of likely progress or outcome. We will continue sitting weekly as agreed.

First Sitting. June 8th 2011.

This was the first sitting held within a new format. As we opened the seance Lee was seated in the closed cabinet, with blackout conditions set, this being in accordance with spirit instruction. Chris and Alan (the only two witnesses) were seated side by side so that any phenomena noticed would be witnessed from the same perspective. They were to the right of the cabinet, about 6ft away from Lee. On the other side of the cabinet sat Sandy. Beside her, with a chairs width between them, sat Richard.

Chris had been given to understand by Sandy's spirit team, and also by her own guide FC, that Sandy and Richard, along with Lee, would be experiencing spirit-control (trance) throughout the seance.
Basically..this seance set up, with three medium's expected to be in spirit-controlled trance state, was a new experience for all of us. We certainly hoped that the two witnesses would remain conscious otherwise there'd be no-one present in a state to record anything that might occur!

So...what happened?

Very little, in respect of physical phenomena. During the seance on several occasions Chris saw some pinkish glo-clouds and 'energy fizz'. She also noticed that a couple of luminous dots, that were stuck to the trumpet, kept becoming obscured by 'something'. Aside from that she noticed nothing. Alan noticed some strange sounds that seemed to be coming from the cabinet, near to the close of seane.

Upon close of seance Chris put the red light on and saw that all three Mediums were experiencing quite deep trance control. All three took awhile to return to their normality. All three said that they felt their trance to be controlled by her spirit team throughout the seance...although their awareness varied.

An interesting first sitting. We sit again at the same time next week.
